Cool, hopefully the CD player in the car still works and the CDs themselves do not have too many scratches. Nice vintage blast from the past of Heart. I wonder what Antonio listens to: U2, Black Eyed Peas, Lifehouse, Nine Inch Nails, STP, Foo Fighters, REM, Eddie Vetter/Pearl jam…….?
It’s a good thing Steenz added other boys to the strip. If all Heart had was Dean to crush on and realized her Dad somehow looks like a 24-year old Dean, it could get awkward.
I have a very old car with a CD player. But I actually plug a flash drive into my cigarette lighter, and it plays through the radio. Or put this fake plastic cassette into the cassette slot, and plug that into my phone.
It’s time for stacks of wax on a Terrific Trombone Tuesday. Jack Teagarden, Tommy Dorsey, and Mr Dorsey’s arranger and second tromboner when he was with the Dorsey Brothers Band, a guy named Glenn Miller.
A friend found a mint Sony high end portable cassette player from the 70s, it looked unused (clean pinch roller) in original box. And coincidentally I had a case of 50 year old Sony tapes from when I worked in broadcast and had access to the station library. Most sound scratchy because they were recorded on studio turntables for an AM station but were ok.

The one on the upper left doesn’t even look like a CD, but like an old Capitol 45 rpm single.

Well, those who predicted that Antonio would “bail” were wrong…

Well, at least he knows how to heart good quality music in a car. Maybe he’s not a total train wreak.
