They have NO policies, except tax cuts for the rich. NONE.
And whatever Their Messiah wants, of course.

Republicans have been in attack mode ever since Gingrich’ nastiness followed by Karl Rove’s Continuous Campaigning.
Latest iteration is the Border Bill that was torpedoed by Their Messiah.
Again, they have NO policy, only ‘issues’ to weaponize and LIE about.
.
Once The Messiah gave instructions, all The Disciples on these boards claimed it was a horrible bill, even before the summary came out.
The Disciples now believe that Republican Senators are incredibly stupid — that all the concessions contained in the bipartisan border bill were really just the Democrats’ plan to allow 1,800,300 illegals into the United States every year. (Trump Disciple math)
And those same Republican Senators only discovered the true nature of the bill when it was torpedoed by Their Messiah.
And The Disciples are so grateful that Their Messiah is such a Stable Genius that only HE could discern what Republican Senators could not.
Not good timing, since he just said about Donnie saying he would “encourage” Russia to attack Europe:
“Can you imagine a former president of United States saying that? The whole world heard it. No other president in our history has ever bowed down to a Russian dictator. Well, let me say this as clearly as I can: I never will. For God’s sake, it’s dumb. It’s shameful. It’s dangerous. It’s un-American.”
In every state it will be possible to vote against both of them.
And for almost all people, their vote will not come close to possibly affecting the outcome of the vote in their state — so they might as well use their vote to express an opinion about the offerings.
Staying away from the polls is another way, but it might be mistaken for approving of both.
What I like about all this is the public is reacting to the surface optics and totally avoid the results of their actions. So much for the quality of their character.
well, he got down in the mud with his recent accusations of Trump encouraging Putin to attack a NATO ally (look it up – Trump was browbeating a NATO deadbeat to “pay up” to support NATO)
I was talkin’ with my running buddy about Libertarians today. Anybody who reads my posts knows that I can’t take them serious. It’s as Jennifer Jason Leigh notes in Fargo season 5, concerning Libertarianism, when she is mentally jousting with a nutcase John Hamm with half her brain tied behind her back, concerning his general philosophy: Lorraine Lyon: “So you want freedom without responsibility? Son there’s only one person on Earth who gets that deal.”Sheriff Roy Tillman: “The President?”Lorraine Lyon: “A Baby”
I have often noted that if you had 30,000 Libertarians at a convention, you’d have 30,000 completely different political philosophies……..My buddy and I did note that we think all 30,000 would agree on the legalization of recreation weed.
It looks like we will be forced to choose between Biden and Trump. Both are too old*. Trump has been convicted of financial crimes, but — as of now — still not convicted of violating the 14th amendment, so still eligible to run. But, as things stand now, I may end up voting for him, anyway.
The sole reason I hesitate to vote for Biden is Kamala Harris. If Biden was younger, and in perfect health, I would risk it. I will not risk putting the country into the hands of Harris. If Biden dumps her and chooses another running mate he would get my support.
*As someone pointed out in a previous post, there are CEOs out there who are older than either Biden or Trump. But the people he mentioned either founded the company or (essentially) own it. So they can be a CEO as long as they wish. But I will bet that when the time comes for them to retire they will not choose an 80-year-old to replace them. There are younger qualified people out there. We need to find them.
I say let Biden lay low and let people like Nikki Haley attack trump. I’d also let the Courts attack trump. Why just yesterday he got a judgment of $450M against him. He’ll appeal but the longer he waits to pay the interest keeps growing. Yeah I think for once Biden can concentrate on his presidency and let trump slowly decline into madness and bankruptcy

That’s pretty forceful.

Hmm, the guy who isn’t terrified of falling has a sloth for his mascot. Stantis still lives in Rupert Murdoch’s world.

President Biden has had plenty to say about trump, and by name.
But since he doesn’t call him names like “Dumb Donny” or “Liddl Don”, I guess that doesn’t count.
Instead, he speaks in complete sentences that reach a point, which is gibberish to anyone on the right. Anyone.

No, his “attack mode” is letting his handlers bury him in a groundhog hole all year………
Well, heck, it miraculously “worked” in 2020 (along with whatever machinations the DNC pulled off to tilt the vote their way)……….
