The sun is shinning on the top of the ridge and is working it’s way down into the valley, currently 20 degrees and clear. They’re saying a mix of sun and clouds a high (if you’d like to call it that) is 32.
Well, yesterday was not a good one for the books. I was getting my lunch ready when I heard something fall in Andy’s room. When I checked I found Andy flat on his face. Well, I got Ida’s attention and he was getting up when she got there. We headed out to Newport and the North Country Hospital ER. We got there at 2:00 and left at 7:00. In that time a CAT scan was done and sent to Dartmouth, what else I don’t know, I was not allowed in. He most have hit his head when he fell because he kind of looks like Rocky at the end of the movie, black eye. We’ll hear from Dartmouth hopefully by Wednesday. Haven’t had a day like that since I did in my little blue Jeep Liberty.
Today, I hope, should be more quiet, more normal shall I say. (^.^)
It’s another gloomy morning, though it isn’t dripping at the moment. The streets and cars are wet, but no drumming on the carport. According to The Weather Channel, it’s supposed to start up again around 8:15, just in time to be raining while I drive to the prayer group. We’re at a 57% chance this morning, diminishing the rest of the day. The expected high is 53 today and we’re at 46 at the moment.
Gatekeepers again this morning. That’s what the prayer group is called at my church. The slide that announces it on Sunday mornings has this big set of wrought iron gates on it. And yes, I will add Andy to the list.
My friend Cozy came by yesterday. She’s finally driving again after almost a year. She doesn’t have a printer and asked me to print out some documents for her. And she stayed for 2 hours! That’s okay. We laugh a lot when we’re together. And I’ll head on over to her place tomorrow for another session and probably some cribbage.
The condo next to Mike finally has a for sale sign in the window. It’s similar to mine in that it is a single story end unit in a building that has 4 up and downstairs units in between the two end ones. Mike’s is a downstairs. Funny thing is that the other end unit in the same building has been vacated too. We don’t know whether it will be sold or rented.
It’s time to kick start the day with a shower. Everyone have a blessed day.
