    Hi Vagabonds

It’s snowing again and 19 steamy degrees. Forecast calls for cloudy skies followed by a partial clearing, high 21. Hum, not very high.

With Saint Patrick’s Day only a month away I’ve changed my avatar to a Celtic Knot. Yum, Corn Beef and Cabbage.

In other news, well any way. Just my usual journeying around the Kingdom and taking it slow. (^.^)

Have a fine day Vagabonds and may the Lord bless thee and keep thee.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Our dinner out last night was wonderful. Way too much food, but wonderful. We each were entitled to an appetizer, entree, drinks, and dessert. Thanks to the gift certificate, the only thing we paid for was the tip. We asked them to box one dessert & one appetizer to go. We also brought home about half of our meat entrees too. Another great meal to look forward to this afternoon. I’ll have to thank Mike again.

We’re off to help with a homeless outreach this morning. We both skipped bible study to do this and I’m looking forward to it. It will mean 3 hours on my feet probably, but I think it will be worth it. Remind me to wear a hat, though.

We’re looking at a sunny 66 today so it should be a good day for the outreach.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Hi there, Vagabonds

It’s hard to tell but, I think we have a light snow over on the ridge. It’s definitely cloudy and 7 degrees. In the forecast they’re saying, cloudy, go figure, high 27.

My sister’s birthday was Friday. I got her a floor lamp to set behind her rocking chair so she can read. Looks and works great.

Heading out for church soon, we solder on while looking for a Gospel teaching pastor for our pulpit.

Have a great Sabbath Vagabonds, may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday’s outreach was interesting, fun and very rewarding. We set up in a small park near downtown Vegas. We served coffee and donuts and someone brought a flat of water bottles too. Someone else brought some blankets and pillows and some bibles and Daily Bread devotionals. By the time we left, almost except some of the devotionals was gone. We did take the rest of the food over to a homeless encampment where it was greatly appreciated. The members of our group (Agents of Hope) had several “encounters” with folks who needed prayer and I was involved with one of them with Mike and a man named Billy. Mike really has a heart for reaching out to the homeless because he was homeless for a long time in the midst of his addiction. I could see that helping Billy and the rest of these folks made him light up from within.

I wouldn’t dream of going back there by myself – too dangerous – but I will help Mike whenever I can.

We tried to watch the much vaunted “Oppenheimer” yesterday afternoon and all three of us agreed that by the end of the first hour, it was boring, disjointed, hard to follow the story and the cast spoke in such low voices that we could not understand what they were saying. We gave up on it, though I may go back to it by myself and see if it gets any better once he makes it to the site of the Manhattan Project. Part of the problem is that a lot of it is shown in flash backs to two different time periods.

Off to church this morning. Where does the time go? I thought I had time to do my truncated toon tour before I took my shower and now I’m running late.

We are supposed to get up to 70 today. Nice!

    Everyone have a blessed Sunday.
