How many people out there remember the VERSES to the chorus we all sing as “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”? It wasn’t until Cooperstown that I knew such existed.

I am with Sonny. If I was that age and class decided that, I would not have liked. Sonny would want class go different kind of field trip of her interest

My son took me to NY for my birthday saw the last game played in their stadium before moving to the new one. Went to Cooperstown and really enjoyed the hall of fame.

Show her “A League of Their Own.” If that doesn’t change her mind, nothing will.

Everybody’s interests are different. We should support each other. Maybe you’ll learn something new.

Although I also find sports boring, my second cousin once removed and his book was honored at Cooperstown; he was called the father of black baseball history. And I also love “A League of Their Own”.

I think a local news station would refer to the ballpark as “Citizens’ Bank Park,” or even, “the Bank,” rather than “the Phillies’ Stadium.”
