It snowed here back in January, couple inches. Not a problem. What was a problem was people with their magical 4×4 vehicles sliding all over and packing the snow into ice and slush. Generally, we have supplies for 1-2 months on hand and my wife WFH 95+%. The ice was gone in a week.
the couple centimeters that accumulated overnight would have just melted away when the sun came out, but the neighbor ladies apparently needed exercise, because they both rushed out the door early to shovel the tiny bit of snow before it could melt… ☺
