We have had several types of flowers blooming here: snowdrops and hellebore. Probably the scilla is up, too, but I haven’t been by that area to check. I was really surprised to see blooms on some hydrangeas.
Anyone else suddenly hungry for a cheeseburger and pickles? But please discard the wrappers into the trash. (pickles on the side for me, please)
I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday, and my treat afterwards is always a huge bacon cheeseburger at my favorite burger joint. I was shocked to see it was no longer there.
Mildest winter in memory, up here in the Great White North. March is certainly coming in like a lamb. Being an optimist, I’ve taken off the snow tires.
My daffodils bit the big one. Too much sun, too much cold. They tried. The deer didn’t even get a chance at the dead yellow heads on the ground next to the green bits. Sigh.

I’ve seen emergent coleus flowers in February.

So that’s where “the green of summer” comes from.

I thought that maybe it was a dog doodie. A burger wrapper is a little bit better.

What is this “snow” that you speak of Mon? We got no such thing here in in Jamaca!

In the Spring here in the North of California I am often initially angry at roadside piles of trash until I realize they are wildflowers.
