Take away the costumes, makeup, supporting dancers, musicians, auto tune, lights and special effects and you see just who and what your “idol” really is. A fairly ordinary person of limited talent who is famous because someone with money wants to make more. People scratch and claw to get to the center of attention and then, believing that their position gives credence to their political and societal opinions, act aggrieved that the public won’t give them any privacy. Boo hoo. Just my opinion, of course.
Learn something every day. I recall hearing a local popular singer some years ago and wasn’t impressed with their singing. Heard them after they got famous and thought man they sound different… Guess I know why now.
