I have a few serving as ersatz hooks.

Old, used paperclips get rusty and bent out of shape, just like people.

If you find a paperclip, it means something’s coming together for you!

It’s McGuyver’s fault.

They all get together and produce wire coat hangers.

What? I still use paper clips…

I have a box of them still! LOL

They’re in a drawer next to the duct tape and WD-40.

Bong and pipe pokers as well!

I read the comments to see if anybody remembered who the hated Clippy was. So far, no one!

If you don’t need a paperclip, you see them everywhere. If you need one, there’s none to be found.

They grow up to be wire coat hangers and then bicycles. The late Avram Davidson wrote a short story about this life cycle back in the 1950s.

When you die, you get all your lost paperclips back. Along with all of your missing socks and Tupperware lids.

At a certain point in their development paper-clips pupate into staples.

Paper clips rubber bands and duct tape. The Holy Trinity.
