Second attempt to post. Laughing at Sterling on the hunt, and Seagull frowning at Dad. Message to Wallace—I know you’ll reconsider about the tamarins. Remember how you felt when you removed the tadpoles from their home?

Well this doesn’t leave much doubt that Sterling is feral.

The only reason the family’s provisions are hanging from a branch is that Sterling is only feeling peckish right now.

In almost every respect, mum’s a happy, hippy child of the 60s. But I doubt if even her parents knew each other around then…

Various shades O’ Green for St Patty’s Day!!

Rethink the tamarins, Wallace. They’re cute, but “eliminate” indiscriminately. And it stinks!

Take this from someone who has had them in her home..

So thoughtful of Wallace to include a hammock for Seagull in his vision.

I looked up tamarins and I’ve never seen so many words I didn’t know in one Wikipedia paragraph.

Wallace has planted the seed, so to speak.

Well, there ya go. Get all the plants ya want and Sterling there will eat the bugs. No problemo.

Every time I try to do this, I end up with a lot of dead plants. sigh I replenish them but only about 50% of them have survived for 2+ years..

Scans panel left to right – see’s empty hammock with spiderweb – where’s Stirling? Then BAM he’s staring at you. Then you see comment about bug – looks at Stirling again to see he’s watching a Garden Snail. Going to go back for a third pass to find the hidden four leaf clover.

Reminds me of an Aunt’s house. You needed a machete to make your way to the couch

When I saw the word ‘tamarins’ I thought – monkeys. I www’d it, and I was right – I’m so proud! :^)…

I love the empty 4th hammock and its sneaky little inhabitant creeping through the jungle.

Time to sequester that carbon!

And why not set Sterling loose on the six-spotted leafhoppers?

I have to commend all of the commenters on this strip You only deal with details and observations with no snarky criticisms or trolling the author’s choices which ruins the experience on places like Crankshaft. Thanks for making me go back and finding the things I missed. As a relatively new reader of this strip I find all of you refreshingly friendly and intelligent. Take a bow.

This is an absolute masterclass in cartooning .. the draughtmanship, the colours.. the different bits of humor, four at least .. must be the best drawing on Gocomics. I would have this man’s children, if he weren’t spoken for (and all the other reasons, eg me being male :-)
