I’m surprised at Dana’s reaction. She would have already known there were treats, because if there were, she’d have been the one to get them.

Ed didn’t leave the room…give that guy a raise!

This actually happened. In a Management-Called Meeting, we were told there would be no raises and that old saw “Work Smarter”. There would, however, be two new hires to replace lost Employees, and both of them were to be “Administrative Assistants”. Now that’s working smarter! ☺

Please have some sympathy for those poor executives. After Covid, they likely aren’t as rich as they feel they should be.

After all, CEOs are superhuman and scarcer than hens’ teeth. /s

looks like Ed will get another raise for remaining in meeting :p

My employer eliminated company-provided snacks and such last October. No Thanksgiving meal on site, or to go meal for remote workers. Also no Christmas gift.
