    Snakes get a bad rap. Rattlesnakes are afraid of humans (we appear like giants to them) and would rather run away… (Of course, being without legs that really isn’t an option.) They’ll try warning us to leave them alone. But if you step on one or grab it the poor thing will react in self defense.

    I have cacti plants. They have personality! Those that stay outside year-round have gorgeous yellow/golden blooms. The indoor ones are Christmas cacti with either reddish or white flowers. All are easy to care for.
