When I was a kid, being on the Easter Bunny’s good side was the same as being on any fictional cartoon character’s good side. In other words, I didn’t care. I believed that Santa was real, but I never took the Easter Bunny seriously.
Guy Fawkes Day? Yes, it’s British, but that shouldn’t stop Hammie, especially as it involves bonfires and fireworks, and commemorates the attempt to blow up something.
UH, it is LENT. Maybe you should ensure the Kids are worried about being on the good side of JESUS – The REASON for Easter. His Resurrection is THEIR Salvation. Teach your children well please!
When I was a kid, I knew from whom I received all my presents, and it wasn’t a fictional character. If I wanted nice presents I needed to stay on mom’s good side.

Try Groundhog day. It’s basically a drunk fest, at least in Punxsutawney.

Remember kids, don’t pronounce the “r” when there’s another one nearby.

I’ve never understood how the really serious fundamentalist Christians could tolerate the idea of either Santa or the Easter Bunny.
