Places DO like Americans. So long as they’re not the ’everything’s better in the United States’ loud types who shout about how they’re not using the local currency because everyone uses Dollars and it’s the only real currency! Those ones most countries don’t get on with. The rest are fine.
Maybe if we would stop starting for profit wars, and overthrowing democratically elected governments so the petroleum companies can steal their resources, we might have a better reputation.
We’ve been around a bit and have friends and have exchanged visits with those of other countries. Along with the bad, many elsewhere admire much in the American lifestyle and appreciate the diversity, which is greater than almost anywhere else, and they produce endless YouTubes of the places they visit and features of regional American cultures they gush about and endless YouTubes of their reactions to those videos. And they envy the huge areas of majestic beauty of much of America, especially the national parks, and constantly remark on how open and friendly Americans are at home.
If an American has a decent behavior and respects the local way of living and way of social interaction you will be liked everywhere. Except where the USA incited war and US companies wreaked havoc to social peace or natural balanced life…
I’ve traveled around the world and always got along great anywhere I went. If the people in other countries are treating you rudely, you can be sure it’s because you’re acting like a jerk.

Ok. You could ask for a trip to Antarctica.

Another state might even be a problem because some don’t seem to agree with the fact that other people are Americans, too

Once, long ago, other countries were envious of us. Now, not so much.
