What do you get if you cross a cow with an octopus?

An immediate cessation of funding and a stern rebuke from the ethics committee

It was to be the biggest scientific press conference of the decade.

Geneticist Rick Hallorann spoke to the crowds of reporters, camera flashes illuminating his face.

“The time has finally come for the first human cloning experiment to be performed,” he began. “The technology for us to clone humans has been around since the eighties – but only now, after plenty of deliberation, have the many ethics committees and subcommittees ruled in our favor.”

“What was their ruling?” Interrupted a reporter. “Who should the first clone be? How will they be raised?”

“Well, it was a difficult matter, but the ethics committee decided that the clone should be raised by a parental figure, rather than a team of scientists. As well, it should be a clone of someone who is not able to have offspring the old fashioned way. Finally, for technical reasons, it should be an XY-chromosonal specimen.”

“So you mean?” Chimed in another reporter.

“Yes,” finished Dr. Hallorann, “The ethics committee has ruled: let he who is without kin grow the first clone.”

I asked if it was ethical to talk about brains

They told me it was a gray area.

Chicken pot noodles are vegan? If they died when we learned their flavour,

    are these noodles ethically sauced?

Don’t know who I’m stealing from here, but it’s pertinent.

“Who needs bills of attainder when you have selective prosecution?”

AOC is still in jail. She’s claiming that she didn’t break law, because RICO isn’t a law, it’s a category.

No wonder they always vote for Senator Belfry, who lies, embezzles, and leaves them out to dry. They do deserve him, but not the rest of us.
