They are of the Gulo genus where gulo is Latin for glutton. In German they are the VielfraB which means devours much. They are omnivores and perhaps due to their low body shape or just because they are exuberant but they eat in an energetic and direct fashion with powerful jaws that can rip muscle and crush bones so they tend to eat the whole of any animal.
