As so often happens with something new, I will read or hear that very thing several times today in various places — like a fleeting Zeitgeist. (—

I wonder if this applies to the brown long-eared bat, which exhibits an interesting use of its big ears. It utilizes them to aid in lift and maneuverability while flying. The complex wake patterns due to ear movements suggest a novel aspect of thrust generation during flight.

One thing I love about FA is that it’s chock-full of practical knowledge relevant to all our daily lives.

Alois’s habit of hiking on the glacier while he crammed for quizzes struck his classmates as odd, or worse. There’s no arguing with straight ’A’s’ though.

You can increase the thickness of the cornified layer of the ear by walking on your head regularly.

The doc said all that was needed was a thin layer of medicated cream and it will all go away…..however, in some cases, it’s not that easy….
