I can’t remember how to spell anymore. My Dr says it’s kind of a side effect of one of my meds. I confuse S and C and C and K and P and B. the kinda sound like ones. Anyway, I can tell when it gets bad. Spell check suggested another language yesterday. :-(
Some people swear that a glass of wine at night helps memory. 32 oz glass nightly does wonders I am told and aids sleep. Hit me again some say. Not likely Unc Ted and Brutus into the Grapes of Wrath?
One year I kept track of how many charity solicitations I received in the mail. True fact: At the top of the list was Alzheimer’s Association. They kept forgetting that they’d mailed me a solicitation the prior week.
The last comic says it all. How do you know if you have forgotten something? Hey if you want to spend $300 or more a month for vitamins, memory supplements and sleep aid medications plus all the other prescriptions that you really do need to pay for,go for it. If you think they work, than they do work for you and nay God Bless you and Uncle Ted who’s not sure and can’t remember……
I’m sitting in the Tampa, Airport, and the sight of Uncle Ted immediately relaxed me. On the other hand, the sight of Mother Gargoyle immediately sets me on edge, no matter how relaxed I am. So thanks for having Uncle Ted featured today, Chip!
I took a medication my doctor wanted me on. I kept telling him I felt it was messing with my memory. He told me it wasn’t a reported side effect. After a while, I gave up reporting it. Maybe a year or two later, he asked me, unexpectedly, if I had noticed any memory issues due to that medication. I just said, “I can’t recall having any memory issues.” He actually accepted that to mean I didn’t have any complaint. I just dropped it. I also dropped the medication. Then I dropped the doctor, too.
if i appear to remember things my wife just expects me to remember them all the time, which is just too hectic. having a faulty memory really lightens the work load… ☺

Sometimes I forget the words: all I need is a dictionary. If only I knew where I put it.

With all the supplements I take for other things, I probably have a memory enhancer in there somewhere.
