I think his son nailed it…..so often we end up in a job where your boss thinks he’s better than you because he’s the boss. I’ve been there and learned a lesson….“Take this job and shove it!” is sometimes the best way to keep your dignity, especially when you have confidence in yourself and your abilities.

In my career in corrections I always came across people that said that they didn’t want their kids following in their footsteps. If their career choice wasn’t good enough for their kids, what were they doing in the job? That attitude made my job harder because of their bias when I followed in the next shift.
