All these code words. What the right wants is a return to where white people are back where they were in the early 20th century. Others can stay as long as they “know their place.”
Some implementations of diversity are racist. If I am turned down because I am white, that is racism. The US playing catch-up; trying to level the field so we can go forward without inclusion laws. I am not against the leveling process, but there are some casualties. In many cases those “casualties” were long overdue, with so many “good-’ol-boys” and golfing buddies getting undeserved promotions into positions for which they were unqualified. But in some cases a better white candidate may lose an opportunity based on color. It also backfires on non-traditional candidates because of accusations that diversity is the only reason they are there. It’s mess with no easy answers; but to the extent possible we MUST make opportunity available to ALL.
But without context, it is absolutely true that the current inclusion laws are racist.
We are moving toward assistance based more on socioeconomic need. For one thing, there is no legal or scientific test for “race”. Even “ethnicity” can be hard to prove. Eventually most of us will be brown and wondering what all the hassle was about. :)
The problem is that most white folks fear “liberty and justice for all” and “equal protection under the law”. They also fear equality will mean getting treated the way black and brown people are treated today, never mind the past.
White folks have all been beneficiaries of our original sin of white racism. No matter what they have been through it would have been harder and more dangerous if they had to live through it while black or native American.
Racism was built into the macro-economics of the nation. Racism makes sure that the 99% will not make common cause against the 1%, to have more equitable distribution of the nation’s wealth..
We should eliminate the racist elements in our Constitution. Those racist elements include the Electoral College, the distribution of Congressional and Senatorial seats in Congress. We should also end gerrymandering. Racial profiling should be illegal.

What angers me are all the US tax dollars he gets through government “contracts”. He’s one of the nations biggest welfare queens.
