Growing up, family used it in our coffee. Haven’t used it in probably 40 years…still have an unopened can in cupboard???

Like the old gag “gift” I saw at some store or other. It was an empty can where the logo said, “Dehydrated water. To use, add water.”

One does not.. ever drink evaporated milk, it’s sole use is to add a few drops to coffee or in rare cases, used in cooking.

Because the liquid hasn’t completely evaporated.

There’s just no whey to explain it.

This is why you NEVER give a cat evaporated milk.

They will evaporate.

Another name for it is condensed milk.

You drink what didn’t evaporate.
