I think it has to do with historical living in which during the winter there wasn’t any energy for keeping the house clean enough to discourage pests or fungus when the temperature rose.

I mourn the loss of the extra pockets. But I get over it.

March represents the doldrums period, when human tolerance of cold and damp reaches its peak. Spring brings a quickening of the spirit that celebrates the fading gloom of winter. People feel a sense of purpose, of being more active. Cleaning house is the first and most convenient job to start his-her engine.

I’ve often thought that Winter Cleaning makes a lot more sense because you’re inside anyway.

In the above comment I used his-slash-her in the last line and the following sentence appeared and blocked the comment

So when I copy-pasted that sentence into this comment it appeared as

It appears any time a slash is used between words it will be read as a url. When used with fractions, such as 2/3, there is no block.

Seems their AI is being tuned to the point of ridiculous sensitivity. It definitely demonstrates the limitations of AI control, which adds an edge of concern about just how far it will be allowed to develop without a good deal more thought and control than at present.

Reminds me of the marshmallow monster in ‘Ghost Busters.’ I mean, Where is Bill Murray when you need him? : )

Jef couldn’t have guessed there would be 6 inches of heavy wet snow today after the soft winter we’ve had. Really great for snowballs though.

I feel kinda bad when it’s nice outside and I’m inside watching March Madness.
