It begins. What i’ll leave as a question mark for newer readers, but i’m not ready to see what’s coming again and i’ve read this storyline quite a few times. How it begins also works really well as April understandably feels left out and that feeling’s only going to increase.
Those last 3 April is too little for, but the beach, she’d have loved that. She’s too young to understand that sometimes mommys and daddys like to go somewhere alone without the kids. Hmmm.
I feel bad for April because I have never been on a “real” trip, the closest I came to leaving my city was school field trips.
That being said, Elly shouldn’t be bragging in front of her daughter because according to Lynn, this is the catalyst for the upcoming events. I get that you had fun, but don’t overdo the explaining.
The grandmother did a good job at explaining to April that there are times when her parents need some kid-free time to themselves. Guess it did not sink in with April.
The crux of the matter is that April was too young to go on the cruise. What if she was running around and fell off the ship’s railings? Without getting too macabre, the concept of April drowning or facing near death from such an event is too much for a family strip like this.
When hubby and I went on an anniversary cruise, son was put out he couldn’t come too ( was during school year- Nana stayed with him), so took him for his high school graduation celebration. great memories. Love Disney Cruises.
When I had to go away to my grandmothers funeral, about 30 years ago, I took my littles aside one at a time to let them know that I was going away to say goodbye to my grandma who was in Heaven and said I was sorry they couldn’t come with me. One of them begged me not to go.. to Heaven, the other asked if she could go to Heaven too! “I haven’t been to Heaven yet!..” Perspective (◠‿◠✿)
Yeah that was the fun thing about being on a cruise 35 years ago, you could be onboard a great ship, and nobodies kids were there to annoy you! Not that way now !

Elly went snorkeling? After she saw how she looked in a bikini??
BTW, isn’t today April’s 4th birthday? And her family is ignoring that??

I wonder if April has gone on an incredible growth spurt or Elly is shrinking fast?
Just two days ago the toddler April was only as high as grandma’s hips, yet today, April has grown up as high as Elly’s shoulders!

Who cares what April thinks? April is a piece of property just as the house, car, Farley, Edgar and Elizabeth are owned by Elly.

Now they have special kids areas in the casinos and on cruise ships

There were some things we could have done with our daughter on our away trip, but it was nice to not HAVE to do kid activities.

Nuffing for little kids April. It’s the one time they got to act like adults in a long time.

And apparently they’re doing absolutely nothing for April’s birthday.
