I liked Judge Wapner! He could have a sense of humor, too. One case that would give you a chuckle was when a kid was waiting in the car for his dad and a woman hit it, got out and looked at the damage and left. The kid got the license plate number but described her as an old, grey-haired lady. Well, the defendant said he just memorized her plate because it was a vanity plate and easy to remember. And her hair wasn’t grey, although with her highlights and the shade of brown she had, if the light hit it a certain way, it could look grey. And to a kid, what’s old? And that’s what Wapner asked the kid and he said “See, my deputy Rusty and I here both think we’re very young. I’m sure to you, we’re probably ancient!” and Rusty and the spectators were all chuckling. But yeah, the kid though his dad was old, so to him the lady was. And Wapner even thought her hair looked grey in certain light.
When Felix went into time out it was the bathroom. He had to stay in there for 5 minutes after he stopped making noise. Once I forgot he was in there and he made a small noise. I let him out 5 minutes later. I think that was the last time he ever did anything to deserve a time out. And he was only 2 years old. He lived to be 20 years and 2 months old.
I used to cat sit for a woman whose male used to beat on the female harshly. He would come out of time out, trounce poor Dulcy and then put himself back in. I noticed a small white spot and google the result was, excluding any other symptom, was that he had a small benign tumor that was causing him pain. After the tumor was removed, Elmo was a good boi!
does Ric have a scratch pole? When I took a stray in, the first cat accessories with the litterbox was a big root we had digged out some years prior, 5 inches diameter with another branch off, looks like off a tree. This is where she goes to scratch like nobody’s business if she needs to. Since then she got other scratch posts etc, but this root is the best, shethink.
Our boy Sam has gotten so used to his time-out box that he gets into it himself just to take a nap. There’s times I feel like the Warden in a Jimmy Cagney movie: >Rocky, I warned you one more incident and you get a week in the Hole!< >>Biiig deeeal, I can do a week standin’ on my head!<<

Oh no, he’ll have to interrupt his planned nap by … napping.

What keeps Ric from scratching all those fabrics in the guest bedroom? What is the first word in Dan’s speech bubble in the last panel?

Nice use of judicial references!
(Is Learned Hand a great name for a judge or what?)
(And first name “Billings” to boot!)

Ric is plotting revenge, it’s always the mom who has to dole out the Wapner, and dad gets all the fun and love.

Be careful, Amanda! Ric may print his thoughts on a T-shirt, and wear it!
