Celebrating the life of Robert R. Wharton II :: AKA bbear
January 15, 1951 – March 31, 2021.
Teacher to thousands of students and oldest brother to 11 siblings.
We all miss our Bbear Bob, who was honoured by Graham with a personalized “drawling”…
Plus, there is also a small portion of Bob’s obituary on-line…
GC no longer allows direct links; but if you copy the line below and paste it into a Google Search engine or into your browser header, it should bring you to the access to last year’s observance (March 31 2023), which still has the links alive:

Happy Easter to all TCers that Celebrate! We won’t be having Easter Dinner, my Son in- law is down with a bad back, he was recently diagnosed with Osteo-Arthritis of the lower spine, and it’s the weekend and he has no pain meds. They are going to do an ablation to the nerves surrounding his spine in the next couple of weeks, but this is now. If he goes to the ER they think he’s a druggie looking for a fix. But it’s so bad that my daughter thinks he should go anyway. I’ll know in the morning if they went tonite.
Apricots, peaches and plums got hit with frost last night. I went out at 2 and 4 am to spray them with lots of water (ice protects the fruit I have been told) but when the sun hits them and everything thaws I fear a big loss for the season. I think sprinklers need to go all night and I don’t have that kind of set up or water pressure as they are spread out. Luckily the cherries are only blooming, no fruit yet. An even colder storm is expected at the end of the week.
Baconboy will be posting a picture of the kitten pile when he has a few minutes. And, I’m waiting for a good picture of the momcat. I got one last night but was really too dark for a posting.
Now how is “Chuckles” going to get out of the hole? Maybe Annie will have to figure something out. Happy Easter, by the way. On another note, saw five robins, a spotted towhee, and two chickadees while out walking today.

It’s like a cat up a tree. It’ll come down when it’s good and hungry. Chesney can wiggle out when he’s lost a little of that belly.

I just keep thinking, “Poor Chesney.” Something is obviously wrong with this picture!

Well, Chesney, unless you wriggle your way out while we aren’t looking, it looks like you’re stuck for a while longer.

Pooh and Rabbit’s hole. Disney managed to make an abomination out of it, but fortunately, I didn’t see that till I was over 30.
