I feel a little cruel. A student who is happy with some sort of Pupil Free Day… is looking forward to a longer time off. So with their graduation certificate freshly tacked to the wall… they go out into the world and figure that life will be easy. But soon discover… they should have paid closer attention to what the teacher was trying to convey. That and… the school system tends to just shuffle people out the door without actually educating them.
