Hey, I’d hire them for burgers. Love some barbershop!

It would be interesting to hear a barbershop quartet version of “Enter Sandman”.

That’s what (usually or often) happens … you feed them once and they expect it every time.

The temptation may be strong. But Jimbo should resist it.

He would be well advised to ignore them. They were not invited, after all. Now if they bring their own patties for him to grill, that would be another matter.

Just thought I’d mention an oddity I’ve been noticing lately. I have been reading back through the archives of this strip. Quite frequently now, when I attempt to “like” a comment made previously, it either does not respond at all or it unlikes someone else’s “like”! The age of the comment does not seem to be a factor; I can “like” a four-year-old comment in one place, and be refused by another four-year-old comment, and so on.

In all seriousness, today is national Barbershop Quartet day. It was on this date in 1938 that the group was formed which would eventually be named the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA), now known as the Barbershop Harmony Society.
