I have a few of those fanny packs, they’re just big enough to keep the essentials: a wallet (small one), comb, keys, a pen, glasses and sunglasses, and ID. It’s nice to have your hands free and they’re rather comfortable.

She must have a belly pack, fanny packs are worn at the back, where the fanny is.

When my son was a little boy, he got to wearing a fanny pack on the front. I told my wife that it looked like a big jock strap.

I remember being ordered to wear one at Disneyworld to carry “essential” items. Very aggravating.

Fanny pack is such a bad name for it in some countries. In the UK, ‘fanny’ means something completely different. Look it up – but stay away from the picture searches.

I’ve been using a belt wallet for decades, much easier on my lower spine.

If someone pilfers something from it, are they a pickpocket or a pickpack?

I kept mine in my backpack!!

I wear mine cross shoulder, like the cool kids.

The Fanny pack must be her version of Ralph’s sweatpants. Comfortable, versatile, go anywhere. Heck, as I get older, they are both great ideas.

Caption 1 could have had a Fanny Flag.

Um…I do that. It serves as a wallet most days but a quick small purse when I don’t want to carry my backpack. Handy!

She’s not quite clear on the concept, it’s early yet.

Just don’t call them that in Australia!

I’m living in the UK for the moment. That term is apparently just Not Used here, where they are instead called Bum Bags. Go figure.
