Why play the super Nintendo at camp when you can play it at home?

Wait, are we rerunning that time travel story? It seems fitting. But also… not really wanted.

Of course anyone who got the last releases of 3DS can easily play SNES and NES games at camp. Regrettably I missed the boat on that.:(

I wonder if anyone knows about the solar eclipse today? It’s gonna be so co(O’; . ·

I desperately wanted to go to a horseback riding summer camp as a kid but could never convince my folks to send me. I did manage to make it to one as a camp counselor and riding instructor when I was in college, but it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t until I was in my 30s and had enough expendable income that I could afford it—a horseback riding dude ranch! I had so much fun that I ended up returning annually for 15 years.

Looks like Ethan had a happy childhood!

So no more summer camp band.

For the last eclipse, we drove to N. Georgia to see it. When the sun went total, the sky turned dark and clouds came out. I got a great picture of the sun just coming out of totality in the midst of clouds.

Why is not she going to summer camp?

I had mostly good experiences at camp.

I was at camp more than 60 years ago and the memories are as green as ever.

CDs? Vinyl! With a turntable where you could stack 6 albums! Of course, about the 3rd or 4th album you might as well give up because they tend to slip and distort the music.

Never went to camp as a kid, but took my kids camping many times!
