dogs save the day…again!
The proof of intelligent life out there is that they haven’t tried to contact us.
The Guide says; “Mostly harmless” iirc.
Yipe!!
“Mostly Harmless”
Space is really big. Planets are really far apart. Intelligent life from those planets probably can’t reach us any better than we can reach them.
Much better a hypothesis than some.
We could be the first.
Brings to mind the “Universe Song” in the “Meaning of Life” by Monty Python (the original 1982 movie not the recent remake flick I saw being offered for streaming recently).
I figure they’ve already flown by and given us a good once over. They’ve had a chuckle and put us on the list as not ready for prime time.
Life is highly likely. “Advanced” life, not so much. “Star Trek” is not so much a SciFi show as a bad acid trip.
I wouldn’t mind living beyond my neighbor’s dog’s orbit.
“a planet of pure Insanity” *except for the animals
Poncho, you’ve met the green dog aliens from the dog star several times. I guess they can do that memory-erase thing…
We don’t want no stinking aliens what don’t like our best friends.
Git!
Beam me up, Scotty. There’s no intelligent life down here.
Don’t worry Poncho. When they reveal themselves to us, again, we will bring them to you as they will assuredly request.
I can think of lots of reasons they should avoid this planet.
Because it INTELLIGENT life! They know better than to visit us!
