Talk about being the elephant in the room.

He forgot to remember to forget.

My grandfather who was a Spanish American War veteran and lived with us the last years of his life would remind us to “Remember The Maine” each year on the anniversary of it’s sinking. He was a bugler with the Tennessee Volunteers who were camped on the dock in Tampa ready to ship out when the war ended.

Forgive and forget, but only after retributions?

I forgive, but I remember so as not to get in the same situation again.

Should I say anything?, there’s an elephant in the room.

Be careful what you say and do, because while some people can forgive, no one ever forgets.

“You’re an elephant. Get used to it.”
