A leather thong and breasts with special powers…I don’t think pristine would be my choice of words.

I think he’s looking for a GCD 10.0, but she’s probably “qualified”. I would grade her as “very fine, near mint”. Dunno what her grade will be once she gets slabbed. (Comics fans should also check out this week’s Liberty Meadows strips, as Brandy, Ralph, and Leslie attend a comic-con.) And no panel of her as a booth babe ? grrr…gotta use my imagination…mmmmm… (Say “booth babe” ten times fast!)

Hi, Charlie. Wow. You couldn’t have timed your comment any better!

Unfortunately, a lot of the digital files I need for a book collection are in bad shape. Some of the old software I used is now defunct. Some files are damaged. Some have to be completely rebuilt.

I could just scan prints of my old work, but the quality wouldn’t be top notch and frankly I want to make some revisions. So doing it right is a lot of work.

The first collections will be digital. GoComics has asked me to put together collections for downloads later this year via it’s mobile phone program. After I’ve cleaned up the files for GoComics, it’ll be relatively easy to reformat the files for book collections.

I have to admit—and this is what makes your post so timely—that “Booth Babes” is an experiment to help me find the time to clean up my old files. “Booth Babes” originally appeared in my comic book series as a three-tier, one-page, black-and-white gag. I decided to spiff it up and try it out here (with some extra dialog) as a three-part comic strip.

If reaction to this is good, I may adapt some of my other comic book material as continued comic strips. I’ll still be creating plenty of one-panel, stand-alone gags, but adapting some of the comic book material for use here would make the mobile phone and book projects go a lot faster!

So I’m really interested to see what all of you think. Are occasional adaptations like “Booth Babes” okay or do you just want single-episode, stand-alone gags?

I’m liking ‘Booth babes’ a lot. Intersperse the adaptions with the stand alones.

John Lustig I am going to be in your fine city tomorrow to see John Trumbull’s work at SAM. This is the chance in a lifetime to see such classics as “Signing Of The Declaration Of Independence”. Keep up the good work.

Charlie, I just realized that you may have meant that you’d like to see the original romance stories from the 1950’s & ’60s instead of my revamped versions. If so, I apologize. I’ll probably include some of the original romance stories for comparison when I put out the Last Kiss books. I doubt that the originals on their own would sale, but who knows!
