O.K. That was super cute and brought a smile, not a tear.

Maybe it will land in Kitty heaven.

The Kitties will just use it as a litter box.

Heaven without dogs would be hell.

We wil all travel together from the meadow at the Rainbow Bridge. At least that is my fantasy that helps me cope when I lose one of my little friends.

For those who are interested in an update of the “troll” that attacked a few comics last night (most especially Big Nate , which I don’t even read….), his profile page is still there, and he’s changed his user name at least twice since last night and now is pretending he is a new member who is clueless. I am writing to GoComics this morning, to complain about what happened and ask why their weekend monitoring seems to be non-existent!

If I had a youngster who was a member of GoComics and found out about this happening, I would be spitting bullets right now! This troll incited several young commenters on Big Nate to respond and “counter-attack” , using vulgar language as well, which may indeed get them banned…

The whole incident should never have happened or gone on so long (over 17 hours!). And, it should not be so easy to cover one’s tracks! I do have the member’s account # (and I believe JP Steve posted it as well) and I took screen shots during the worst of the “craziness”.

It remains to be seen what will transpire ….

Some people just don’t understand the purpose of these comments. They are a link to good friends whom we have never met in person, and probably never will. Personally they make me feel like I have a lot of people who like me, (I hope) and with whom I share common interests. They are certainly NOT to spew poison. If you want to do that, go on a Social Media site.

I remember at about 10 or 11 I went to Sunday School. I don’t remember the specific denomination but it was some Baptist branch.Our dog was getting ill and I asked the teacher if I would meet my dog when I got to heaven. The answer was an emphatic “No, heaven was for people only.” My response was something to the effect that it was therefore no place for me. I am pretty sure that was the day I gave up on Christianity.

I only saw it on 2 strips but HAD to flag on both (and I think one WAS 10 Cats). It HAS seemed before that moderation here is closed on weekends.

Cheers always seemed just like the bunch who gathered at Irish Village in Chicago (I’d go once or twice a week for a 2 martini lunch when I worked around the corner at Zenith); we had a mailman (who was always there) a feuding couple and others who were there whenever I visited; and the bartender was a very jovial Irish woman of substantial girth.

One of the things I like about watching “Long Island Medium” is the fact that she very often sees the loved one in question accompanied by a favorite animal. I would have no trouble choosing my lovely Cuddles (even over most other humans).

I just checked the profile page and it still has two (benign) comments with his 3rd new user name in 24 hours. No further activity since 15 hours ago, so I’m not sure whether GC has suspended activity or he’s just laying low.Whatever….

I wrote to GC this morning to complain about him and also the lack of any GC moderating during the weekend. If and when I receive a response, I will let you know.

@Dry, I loved it while Shelly was still in the cast (I identified with sort of a mix between Diane and Carla) and never liked Rebecca at all (chasing after any man with money).

Just came back for my second swim in the lake today and have been in the water for the last five days. WooHoo summer!

All of that craziness makes me glad I don’t have time to read all the comments anymore. The profile shown was a dead giveaway to the culprit IMHO. Too many similarities.
