How about: “Slap, Tackle, Bop”?

Sound effects for breakfast cereals could be noisy and dangerous. Witness the old Quaker Puffed Rice® commercials: “The Cereal That’s Shot From Guns” (As a child, it was the first time I heard “The 1812 Overture.)

Oh, snap!

Snap, there goes the bones, crackle, there goes the teeth, Pop, there goes the joints! (Old age)!!

a lot better than yesterday’s ‘crap, crackle, pop’

They also rejected crap, spackle, and poop.

“Snap” might be even worse, depending on how they interpret it.

And they should change the “C” on the box to a “K”.

I enjoy learning the backstory of things that were once extraordinary but have become part of our everyday lives. We forget how revolutionary they were at creation. Slap, Crackle, and Pop doesn’t have express the majesty.

“Bring the next guy out, and make it snappy.”

Must be “Cereal Day.” Close to Home also cereal themed.

Definitely an eye-opener at breakfast.

Needs a little assault. Just sayin’!

I didn’t embrace that cereal until they introduced Cocoa Krispies . I couldn’t decide whether I liked it better or go with my previous fave, Cocoa Puffs. This is before Count Chocula rose from the dead.
