I made a clay volcano complete with baking soda/vinegar lava for my science project one year. Another year, I planted radishes in one of mom’s casserole dishes. (With her permission, of course.) I loved the Star Trek: Next Gen episode that featured a science fair girl who had also planted radishes.

I enter the kitchen and King is the food dish in under five seconds from not telling where he had been sound asleep in the far reaches of the ouse.

Whenever a dog salivates, a scientist has to ring a bell.

This is the basis for clicker training.

Syrius is a small puppy who (according to the author) is the equivalent of a 4 year old human… and along with his puppy cuteness he touches our heart with his young child innocence. Who of us when we were four and saw mom open the freezer did not suspect ice cream and asked if you could have chocolate/vanilla or your favorite flavor. Syrius is expecting a sweet treat apparently.

’We’re all in our places, with bright shiny faces.’ Did you all wash your paws before coming? Stella just brought a plate for the salad course. The other courses should be served in separate vessels.

Hi all, I am out on a research trip today for some new characters, so I will answer most comments this evening. It is a beautiful day and I look forward to the trip! (The new characters appear on May 25!)

Just heard Carol Burnett on Colbert’s show say that her bengal cat would take the phone off the hook when hungry. Carol could see the phone’s red blinking red light, and sure enough, the cat would be waiting by the food bowl <3

Ha ha – close enough, Kate.

At least she said the ‘EX’, and didn’t pronounce it “SPER-E-MINT”! :-)

Our pups would appear wherever we were like Scotty had beamed them in, if they heard a potato chip bag, single slice cheese wrapper crinkle.
