Husband asks several times a day (dementia) “what’s on your agenda for the day?”. Nothing important enough to talk about, and you will forget in 30 seconds.
It may exasperate some to answer the same question over and over, but at least the person still recognizes you and can still speak. Wait until they don’t recognize you, or can no longer speak. That is a whole new world!!!
