I expected to see the back of Seagull in the fourth panel.

I’m sort of hoping that when they’re 40 they look back and think of this as the most romantic thing ever.

I’ll guess that Spud was coaxed out, grumbling and mumbling. Probably still in his Pajamas.

Actually, you’d think Rose would appreciate this more than Spud.

Boy Scout camp out, years ago, during the one of the annual meteor showers. Spectacular. Now, so many years of living in cities with light pollution I can’t remember what it was like to see the night sky out on grandpa’s farm – and stars seem rare rather than suggesting the infinity of space.

Ah, I missed it – and a rare clear night here in Michigan!

Near full moon. Won’t be as many to see.
