We have a beautiful set of copper molds our mother used. My sister and I live in the family home – we are the last of our family but the photos on the mantle, mom’s cookware etc. keeps them all in our thoughts.
For Christmas, my mom would start with raspberry Jell-o, add chopped apples, celery, English walnuts, and cooked cranberries. She had a Tupperware mold that had different lids with shapes you could put on the bottom what would end up being the top once it was unmolded. She used the star shape for the Christmas mold. I can’t even remember what the rest of the shapes were.

I do not understand the concept of bubble tea. I like tea. I like tapioca in pudding. I do not want tapioca in my tea!

The only one I really liked was blackberry jello with either vanilla mousse or simply Cool Whip…..

I might be interested in trying a molded jello that contains chocolate coated strawberries.

Old color ads in Life magazine from the ‘50s show stuff like this. They can be fascinating.

Your great grandchildren will laud them as early 21st Century revival. They will collect Jello molds by the room full.

Apparently you’re unaware of the Underground jello mold movement. They’re a jiggly lot.

Glad I don’t read while eating anymore.

Mom made an orange jelly mold with shredded carrots and orange juice and zest. I loved it. She used a tupperwear mold too.

Isn’t, I hope, pumpkin spice only popular among cartoonists? As a much abused and overworked unfunny trope?
