If it were only true that antivaxers harmed only themselves (and their progeny) then I’d be fine with letting them take their chances. But there’s a significant population of people who CANNOT be vaccinated. Too young, allergic to one or another part of the vaccine, immuno-compromised while taking chemo or the like. So the truth is that they’re making us all take chances, not just their own. And that’s not acceptable for civilized people.
Hmm, that would be former Democrat and now Independent RFK Jr. Funny how all the Democrat anti-COVID vaxers who said they would never accept a vaccine that President Trump had anything to do with. Among them were Pelosi, Kamal and Biden. Yeah they all wound up getting the jab. Most of my Republican family and friends got the jab too. And guess what? The few who didn’t are still alive and well with some them getting the bug and surviving just fine. I was fully vaccinated, caught COVID anyway and recovered more to my use of hydroxychloroquine than anything else.
Meanwhile the huge influx of illegal aliens have regenerated measles, tuberculosis and other diseases among the public. Thanks so much Democrats and Biden.
Diseases I never caught due to my parents getting me vaccinated: 1. Polio2. Tetanus3. Flu (Influenza) (mild case)4. Hepatitis B5. Hepatitis A6. Rubella7. Hib8. Measles9. Whooping Cough (Pertussis)10. Pneumococcal Disease11. Rotavirus12. Mumps13. Chickenpox14. Diphtheria15. COVID (mild case due to late mutation)
^^ gopher gofer’s comment was not a personal attack at all, simply referenced whose comment he was addressing. As to where you were incorrect, the measles outbreaks are correlated with elementary schools with low vaccination rates, not with border crossing points, for example.
In about 15-20 years medical students will study this time in America and ask “why?” Why were people so stupid, ignorant, afraid? What or who made them that way?
That comment will generate MANY anti-vaxer and Republican hate comments …even if you are correct. The second word you used totally describes Republicans.

It will be nice to live in a world where you do not have to risk a heart attack or stroke just so that you do not get the one version of the flu.
