When I was rising in the 80s and 90s there were so few women in electrical engineering, that I was the odd person out in the group. I worked harder and smarter than my male colleagues, and knew more about the construction part of the job. I was happy to let them be suffering in management, and as a bonus, as a worker with my credentials I made more than they did.
