Time to test the doc’s cranial reflex.

I felt like some kind of a freak when my physical therapist called all his colleagues over to observe my lack of patellar reflex!

I used to have it but I have 4 herniated disks in my lower back that have resulted in a bunch of nerves in my leg losing their ability to carry signals after being compressed for too long (that’s how it was explained to me anyway!) Apparently 1 of them is involved with the patellar tendon

He could have just used a karate chop!

Call in someone from maintenance. I’m sure they’d have a hammer to lend.

Time to retire, Doc.

When he sees the doctor’s bill, there will be a strong reflex.

I was expecting a “3 Stooges” mallet, but this still works.

Perhaps we should all just admire his resourcefulness and not his abandonment of the Hippocratic oath?
