Worked a third shift in a restaurant. Got off at 7am. One morning, I heard sirens. then they stopped, than more sirens. I started to think that the vehicles were coming from neighboring towns. More sirens, my thought, now they are coming from California. Then I woke up thinking that’s too many sirens. The house behind mine was on fire.

I’ve gone deaf in one ear, and going deaf in the other…I sleep til noon with no problems.
