I suppose the ability to run around madly without colliding with inconveniently placed furniture has an attraction for some.

Anyone here that misses ‘Garfield Classics’?

Dogs live in the moment and enjoy themselves. Cats worry about the future, especially whether they’ll be fed or not, and have trouble enjoying themselves.

Odie is just looking for that precious bone buried somewhere in the yard.

Truth

It might have something to do with the fact that fire hydrants and trees are usually outside.

Odie might well make a similar argument about you and being inside though

Really? Cats around here love being outside.

Garfield, think about it being the biggest litter box in the world. You thought that about the beach a few years ago.

Why isn’t Garfield stalking something? Is he a cat or maybe a fat rat? At least Odie is acting like a dog when outside.

Great! Keep all cats indoors.

Garfield, you’ll start running around like that too when the ice cream truck or the pizza delivery truck comes around.

The dude just loves the outdoors.

It just that cats is sneaky in everytheeng they is does.

To paraphrase Bloom County, Odie is saying “I get to poop again!”

My two brother dogs sleep inside, bored. When I let them out, they play, chase each other, smell everything, watch, explore, get me involved in their games. They and I have a blast. Of course my yard is the size of a football field and they enjoy every inch.

It’s June. June is the best time to be outside since the weather is so nice.
