Another kid with a bad assumption. When you’re in a drive-thru queue, you’re not waiting for the food, you’re waiting for all the customers in front of you to be served. Sheesh.

It’s “fast” food just like traveling near the beginning or end of the work day is “rush” hour. Almost exactly, come to think of it.

Those burgers can be pretty messy sometimes. There was a pastrami burger at a place called Jim’s in Pico Rivera, California! It had a lot of thousand Island dressing, and my brother loved it.

Is “tidily” supposed to be “idly?”

I hope the continuation covers whether to call it “food”.

I sometimes how much earlier those folks need to get out of bed so they can wait in that line at Starbucks or Mc Donald’s.

According to the Remo Williams movie, it is because it hastens you to your grave.

Wataburger has to be THE slowest fast food drive-thru. You would think as long as it takes them to get you your order, at least they could get it right. But, NOOOOO!

I think our idea of “fast” when it comes to waiting for food has been changed over the years.

Kid was good. Frazz’s comment is kinda vague or else, as usual, I don’t see his point.

Fast food is food that after you eat it you wish you had fasted.

I get “fast food” and either eat it at one of their tables, or take it home and eat it at my table. A friend once said, “Don’t drink and drive, even if the drink is Coke.”

Maybe they should rename it convenience food. Although it’s not all that convenient. – or food.

I’ve got things I can do or listen to while I’m waiting either in line to order or in the parking lot for the food to arrive.
