Thatadad’s name is Jack?

I heard it was “Red touch black, venom lack”.

I’d still be in a panic.

Years ago, I found what I thought was a bungee cord on our doorstep. It turned out to be a snake that our cat had caught and eaten the head of. It looked exactly like a Coral Snake and we were quite worried until further investigation told us that it was a Sonoran Shovelhead which is identical to a Coral except the lines did not meet at the belly. It’s like that so they look dangerous to predators.

I like snakes.

Still put it outside though…..

The rhyme doesn’t always work. Better to learn to identify types of snakes other ways.

jack sounds strange… i think red touches black venom lack sounds better :I

I’ve heard it as ‘Red to yellow will kill a fellow. Red to black, venom lack.’

I heard it as “Red on yellow, deadly fellow. Red on black, friend of Jack.”
