I don’t agree that NO ONE will hire you without college.
Showing my age but I remember an old TV show called the Honeymooners and the neighbor next door, Norton, Ed Norton was pretty dumb, not making it past Grade 8, yet he got a satisfying job working in the Sanitation Sewer.
Uh, Mildred, is it? Haven’t you ever heard of trade schools? (They’re becoming popular again as more high school grads look at universities and say, I’ll pass, thank you. )

I think it’s time for Nancy to realize she and Mildred couldn’t be any further from each other, and it should stay that way.
