My husband and I met when we both worked at a bookstore. Then I stayed home to raise the kids. Now, thirty-three years later, we’re working together once again at a library. It’s not always easy, but it can be done.
In the last couple of years of his final dime store my dad rented out some space to some people who sold and styled wigs. It was the early ’70s, peak of the wig fad. Worked better than a popcorn machine.

Of all the stores within a store prescription glasses and banks seem to have real staying power in my area.

Walmart had a McDonalds close inside. They had to work at it to achieve something like that.

I met my second wife while we were both working at a Renaissance Faire. I had to give it up. She didn’t want me meeting any third wife. :)
