Slow children indeed.

No difference than the “Speed Bumps” sign on my access street.. Dropped sentences can confuse. “When does a bump even move, let alone race?” was my 9 year old’s question.

I think those signs apply to drivers, not runners.

They put in a speed detection sign at the end of our street when I was younger. Me and some boys from the neighborhood discovered it would measure the speed of joggers too, and we would race up and down the street and let the sign tell us who was the fastest. Fun times.

Years back we had a family with a deaf / hearing impaired child. The city put up a caution sign, that child has graduated college now and has a family in a different town. Sign’s still up and the neighborhood loves it as it keeps traffic slower.

We had that sign near our house, growing up. My Dad said it meant us kids were slow learners.

We have signs here that say: “ROAD MAY FLOOD”. They just gave it permission.

I was ready for this to be another “Kevin is dumb” joke but this is so much better!

In your case boys, “slow” is an adjective, not a verb, or a verbal imperative. Sorry boys,you probably don’t understand……..sounds too much like schoolwork.
