My favorite way to eat cauliflower is to dip the raw florets in melted cheese. That works for broccoli, too. (For some reason, I’ve always preferred raw vegetables instead of cooked, with the exception of roasted carrots, which are really good.)
i’m sure i’m not the only guy whose wife is in the habit of pointing things out just as we’ve passed them…
the folks who live in the place next to our veggie patch property have a house overlooking the ocean, with a lovely view of the mountains in back. the house is surrounded by a high fence (that’s falling apart) and the yard is a jungle. we rarely see them. it’s their prerogative to let their property go to seed, of course, but one wonders why they bothered to move to a place that they weren’t going to utilize…

That “pointing finger” is aimed at the shrubbery. Time for a trim? BTW, the Lockhorns should be grateful it’s the INDEX finger that’s pointing!!

I wish I could get our neighbor to mow their lawn. It’s at least 1/2 a foot and growing

If they want us to mow the lawn that hint isn’t going to cut it. :)

Every Sunday I realize my yard should have looked nice for all the people going to church. Oh, well. I’ll get to it. It looked fine earlier.

I know the Lenharts, friends of my parents. THEY lived in a apartment, no lawn.

Why serve cauliflower when there are several green vegetables to choose from? Cauliflower is bland at best.
