Earl has become rather insufferable… But, today’s strip had me asking, “Why does he want Muffin to like him?” He seemed satisfied with the status quo of mutual disdain.

….and I told her if she scratched / bit me again I would dip a wire brush in gasoline and scrub her butt with it.

I didn’t have any friends when I was little, so my Mom would put a piece of baloney on a string and hang it around my neck so that the dog would play with me.

These newfangled scented body lotions just don’t thrill me.

A little off topic…This morning I changed the litter box. The ammonia smell was pretty intense. It reminded me of the 80’s Jim Henson movie I (re)watched last night, Labyrinth. The threatened punishment was the Bog of Eternal Stench. What popped into mind, the Box of Eternal Stench.

Yah. It’s like that for hours after I do anything with fish. Even after a long shower.

Poor Earl, the things he has to do to stay alive and sane in his own house.
